Dr. Rojas is in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Piedmont Community Health Plan, Aetna and Cigna. She is considered an “Out-of-Network Provider with other insurance companies. Dr. Rojas provides a comprehensive level of care to her patients. This is reflected in the duration, frequency of appointments and more importantly, in the flexibility of tailoring treatment plans to better suit patient needs. The office will provide a receipt with the information you need to submit a claim to your insurance.

Initial Evaluation

The primary goal of your first appointment is to determine whether you and Dr. Rojas can work as a team to the benefit of your mental health. Together, you will fully discuss your current symptoms and your complete health history. This includes extensive medical, psychiatric, and social history as well as collaboration with other providers (PCP, therapist etc.) when indicated. Dr. Rojas will share her assessment with you and recommend a treatment plan.

Telepsychiatry

Telepsychiatry appointments are offered in appropriate cases. Costs are the same as in-person visits and depend upon the length of the appointment.

Medication Management Follow up

At follow up appointments, you and Dr. Rojas will discuss your progress and adjust treatment accordingly. The recommended frequency and duration of these appointments varies by case. It depends upon the severity of your current symptoms, treatment response and the potential risks of your condition. Follow up appointments generally are more frequent during the initial phase of treatment. Typically, frequency ranges from 1-3 months.

Second Opinion Consultation

This type of service is appropriate when you or your current psychiatrist have questions regarding your diagnosis or treatment plan. Consists of an initial 90-minute evaluation, a 30 minute follow up appointment to discuss Dr. Rojas's diagnostic impressions and/or treatment recommendations and a written report sent to your current psychiatrist.
