Insurance:

Dr. Rojas is in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield and Piedmont Community Health Plan. She is considered an “Out-of-Network Physician” with other insurance companies. The office will provide a receipt with the information you need to submit a claim to your insurance.

Business Hours:

The office is open Wednesday Through Friday from 9:00AM until 3:30 PM. Disruptions to the normal business hours may at times occur.

Office Closures:

After-hour urgent calls are routed to voicemail and are checked the next business day. If an emergency arises that cannot wait, please call 911, a crisis hotline, or go to your local emergency department. Non-urgent calls will only be returned during regular business hours (Wednesday Through Friday from 9:00AM until 3:30 PM). If Dr. Rojas needs to cancel your appointment due to illness or family emergency, she will notify you by phone or text as soon as possible. Dr. Rojas will refill your medications and the appointment will be rescheduled at the earliest available date.

No-shows / Late Cancellations:

This practice values your time as well as our own. Due to the high No-show rate, we must request payment information for insured patients (No show fee $100). For cash pay patients we request a deposit ($200) . This deposit will be credited towards the visit fee. If an appointment is cancelled with at least 48 hours notice, the patient will not be penalized. New patient appointment deposit will not be refunded if the appointments is cancelled less than 48 hours of if the patient does not show.

• A first-time cancellation within 48 hours of the scheduled follow up appointment will not be penalized.

• A second cancellation within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment will result in a fee equivalent to 60% of the amount of the normal visit rate ($75-$225)

• A third cancellation within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment will result in a fee of the full normal visit rate ($125-$375).

• Exceptions will be dealt with on a case by case basis and are at the discretion of the doctor.

• Further appointments will not be scheduled until No-show / Late Cancellation fee is paid.

• Patients more than 10 minutes late for their appointment will be considered a no show and may reschedule only after paying the no-show fee.

Medication Refill Policy:

• It is the responsibility of the patient to follow up with medication management appointments at the recommended interval to be sure they do not run out of medications. Medication refills are not considered an emergency. Dr. Rojas will only refill medications during business hours Wednesday Through Friday from 9:00AM until 3:30 PM. Stimulant medication (for ADHD) and benzodiazepines (such as clonazepam, xanax, and ativan) will NOT be refilled outside of scheduled appointments.

• Dr. Rojas will NOT refill medications for a patient who is a no-show or cancels appointments (except for emergencies or illness where the patient called the morning of the appointment).

• Medication refills made outside of an appointment: Patient should contact Dr. Rojas directly via phone or portal message.

Telephone Policy:

For emergent matters please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. For urgent matters, call and leave a message. Urgent calls (such as medication side effect concerns) will be returned within 1 business day. Non-urgent call will only be returned during business hours (Wednesday-Friday). Please try to ask nonurgent questions during appointment times and do not call about non-urgent matters outside of business hours. For faster response patients are strongly encouraged to use the patient portal to communicate with Dr. Rojas.
