Luzángela Rojas-Mogollón, MD is a fully licensed physician who is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
Dr. Rojas earned her undergraduate degree in Chemistry from the University of Puerto Rico. She graduated from Universidad Central del Caribe School of Medicine and completed psychiatry residency at the Boston Medical Center in Boston, MA.
Throughout her career Dr. Rojas has had the privilege of working with a wide range of patients, including severely mentally ill populations, underserved communities and minorities in different settings including outpatient, inpatient and primary care consultations.
Dr. Rojas is fluent in English and Spanish. She feels comfortable treating ages 20-65. She has extensive training in comprehensive psychiatric assessments, psychopharmacology, and evidenced-based treatments for mental health disorders. Dr. Rojas will use medication if indicated, but also stresses the importance of therapy and lifestyle changes.
